Roomscape - The Feretory Mount

On July 11th, 2020, I posted a roomscape thread for The Feretory Mount based on a mapless roomscape I'd done earlier.

Mapless Roomscapes

I've posted a couple of mapless roomscape threads on twitter, while they don't have a map, they do have some great encounter ideas. One of them even generated a regular roomscape map - The Feretory Mount

Roomscapes - Treasures

On March 17th, I posted a roomscape thread that folks used to create treasures that adventurers might find in a map I posted.  I'd actually intended it as a monster lair and was hoping for descriptions of that, but folks did so much better than I had planned.  If you're looking for some unique treasures for your game, you should go check it out!

Roomscapes in the Forest

For this week's roomscape thread, I polled twitter about a setting and a forest road was the narrow victor over an underdark passage (maybe that'll be next week)
I posted both color and B&W versions. Check out the thread for some awesome responses.

Foot Of The Mountain 1500

Now that I've hit 1500 followers on my twitter account I'm releasing my hanging garden map.  A few folks expressed interest in putting together a one-page adventure to join in the celebration, I'll link them below as they pop up.
You can see my previous celebratory map at https://footofthemountainadventures.blogspot.com/2019/02/1000-twitter-followers.html

Overland Geomorffs

To make twitter's #FF a bit more interesting, I'm going to start dropping some Overland mini-maps to go along with my Underdark mini-maps. I'm calling them - geomorffs. They're not quite geomorphs since they don't align on the edges, but you could certainly string them together.  Each will be a small encounter setting you could use in your own adventures, or to expand a published adventure. They'll also be useable with any of my other Overland maps.

The first set was published on March 29th, 2019:

I published three more on April 5th, 2019:

I published three more on April 12th, 2019:

I published three more on April 19th, 2019 - and the awesome @Molvayaana created a set of tokens and bespoke magic items for the red-rock desert setting

If you like these, check out my Underdark Geomorffs.  You might also find something you like on my page of favorites.

A road-side shrine

For many years, a simple road-side shrine and chapel have been a feature of the road from Miles Crossing and Sand Lake.  Old Brother Willet welcomed travelers and often provided a warm loaf of bread and a bowl of fish stew to those wanting to wait out an afternoon rainstorm.

Then, about a week ago, he disappeared. At first, no one thought anything of it, then things started happening.  A nearby farm reported something spooking the animals. Travelers report a foreboding feeling, and traffic along the road is starting to dwindle.  Someone needs to get this sorted before it gets any worse.

What has happened to Brother Willet?  And what will become of the Sand Lake Road?

Three Caves

After being ambushed by a patrol of orcs, the party is able to track them back to a small, marshy valley.  There are caves on both the east and west walls of the canyon and one hidden behind a waterfall to the north.

These three caves are home to a small band of orcs with a shaman and a mated pair of ogres who back them up. If you want to bump out the challenge level, perhaps the shaman could be replaced with a half-orc fighter/cleric or another NPC willing to use a band of orcs.

A River Confluence

This river confluence was drawn as a sample for someone commissioning an encounter area.  It's a great place for an ambush. Perhaps there a band of gnolls, led by a mated pair of flinds.
