A Fungal Forest

This massive cavern is filled with giant mushrooms, used for both food and construction in the underdark.  As such it is frequently 'farmed' by all manner of underdark denizens.

The western side is more heavily harvested by a drow community that sits a mile or so away.  Their slaves dug out the steps into the nook in the northwest portion of the cavern. The hollow column houses a shrine to Lolth - and gives rise to spiders and driders that make the cavern their home.

The river and waterfall along the eastern edge provide some seclusion to an explorers camp.

Two 'faerie rings' are places of potent magic (and the occasional summoning.)
