Roomscapes in the Forest

For this week's roomscape thread, I polled twitter about a setting and a forest road was the narrow victor over an underdark passage (maybe that'll be next week)
I posted both color and B&W versions. Check out the thread for some awesome responses.

You should check out the other roomscape threads too.

Three Levels of Roomscapes

I kicked off my roomscapes threads with a three level dungeon I drew some time ago.  You can read people's responses here: https://twitter.com/mountain_foot/status/1167419595486941184

Roomscapes in a Church

My second roomscapes map was drawn specifically for the thread - a church with a dungeon and caves beneath it.  As usual, responders came up with a lot of great ideas. Check 'em out here: https://twitter.com/mountain_foot/status/1169934385543467008

Roomscapes in the Corner

This set of roomscapes is based on a section of a dungeon I posted quite a quite a while ago.  In my version, it was the home to a necromancer and his servants.  The folks who responded to the twitter thread had a lot of other ideas.  Check them out here: https://twitter.com/mountain_foot/status/1172391377939746817

The section of the dungeon is shown on this map

Roomscapes

Recently, I've been posting maps on twitter and asking people to describe a room - I call it a roomscape.  The rooms (or other encounter areas) are described in a systemless way, with an emphasis on description and imagination.  There have been some really wonderful roomscapes shared and I wanted to collect them so that people can find them and use them.

EricNieudan wrote a great roomscape - with a nice description of what roomscapes really are.

I'll try to keep this page up to date as I post roomscapes.

My patrons help to fund these and many other things, and get access to a number of maps, magic, and other game aids each month.  If you'd like to help out, consider becoming a patron for as little as $1 a month.

Roomscapes in a Ruined Castle

I found a collection of books about Scottish castles with illustrations and floorplans.  I'm sure I'll be using a lot of them in the future.
This one caught my attention and I drew a set of maps inspired by it and posted them as part of my roomscapeshttps://twitter.com/mountain_foot/status/1175044857879859201 Check it out for some really cool ideas.

Here's the basement.

This is the ground floor.
This is the second floor.

This is the third floor.

This is the rooftop.
